Meet Geeta…

Geeta is a fundamental part of our glam brigade in our Reading salon. She has been a beauty therapist for 14 years now, so she really is an expert!

Why do you like working as a Beauty therapist?

“I love doing treatments and meeting new customers! My day is usually very busy, as soon as I clock in, I have clients back to back. I do a range of treatments, so am usually busy with lashes, waxing and threading.
My favourite treatment is waxing! I like the quick results and I have lots of experience in facial, body and intimate areas”

If you could give a tip to someone looking to become a Beauty therapist, what would it be?

“Work hard. You get to meet lots of new people with different stories which keeps the job interesting. I find the job very rewarding!”

Meet Eve…

Eve is one of our Nail technicians in Reading! She really does work her magic on customers nails and is known for her incredible nail art!

Why do you like working in the beauty industry?

“I LOVE doing nails! It’s something that I do with a passion and I couldn’t see myself doing anything else. I love doing nail art too!”

What is your average day in the salon as a Nail technician?

“I work 40 hours per week and spend most of the time doing nails and pedicures! However, when I don’t have a client, I help my colleagues arrange stock and products in the salon, I make sure my nail station is clean and I help out on reception too!

My favourite treatment is Hard Gel Extensions with nail art. I love it because you can transform the way a customer’s nails look completely”

Why did you choose to work in this salon?

“It’s a lovely place with amazing people! The salon looks great ,the staff are very friendly and the managers are the best”

What is your average day as a Beauty therapist?

“I am usually very busy as I do all the treatments that we offer. I like doing the range of treatments as it stops me getting bored and provides variety.”

Why did you choose to work In this salon?

I chose to work at Lashious Beauty because of the range of treatments that we have for customers. It is a great place to work as I can always learn something new too. We attend regular courses where I can improve my knowledge and learn new skills.

The team in this salon are amazing too. I like how the management team speak to me and how they are always available to talk to.”

If you could give a tip to someone looking to become a Beauty therapist what would it be?

“Try your best to show what you can do; don t be afraid to say “i do not know how to do this treatment”. Everyone can improve their skills and I think this is a good company to work with. Lashious Beauty will help you to be a good beauty therapist if you want to”

  3. As always, we deep clean the salon every night and throughout the day the salon is always kept clean and tidy.
  4. Tissues are located throughout the salon to contain any coughs or sneezes that may take place.
  5. Although face masks and gloves have only been advised, to reassure any of your concerns, our therapists are wearing them whenever possible.
