COVID-19 SALON SAFETYMEASURES – FAQS
1. What measures have your stores implemented for customer safety?
At Rawr safety of our customers, employees and communities is our priority and we want to ensure that you continue to feel safe in our salons.
We are closely following all safety advice from the government, and we continue to have health and safety measures in place in all our salons.
These measures include:
Personal protection equipment for all our employees.
On entering the salon, customers are asked to use the hand sanitiser or wash their hands prior to treatments taking place. Hand sanitiser is also provided at each workstation within the salon. We hope that our customers will continue to think of others and wear a face covering when advised to do so from our employees and the government. We of course understand that some customers will have exemptions to wearing a mask.
We have in store Perspex screens as table dividers on our nail bars to help protect customers and employees. We have also increased our in-store cleaning regime, which includes cleaning each workstation after each customer and high frequently touch points such as door handles, work top sand the till area throughout the day.
2. toilets and waiting areas open?
Our toilets and seating areas have now reopened.
3. Do you have/ Where in the salon are hand sanitisers located?
Customers will be able to wash and sanitise their hands upon entry into the salon. Additional hand sanitiser is also placed on each nail, brow station and cash desk. They are also available at back of house for employee use.
4. How do you adhere to social distancing?
Every nail bar has a Perspex screen dividing the customer and nail technician.We also have screen dividers which have been placed between seats to help protect customers and employees. If Covid cases are high, we will move to an appointment only system with no walk-ins, to limit capacity in the salon and close waiting areas in the salon.
Currently walk-ins are available in all our salons, and waiting areas are open.
5. Will staff wear face masks/gloves?
Face masks, gloves and disposable aprons are made available to all therapists.Employees also take regular lateral flow tests to ensure we can identify any positive cases of Covid-19 and keep our salon environment as safe as possible.
6. Contactless Payments – what is the maximum amount?
We are encouraging card payments and contactless, when possible, to minimise cash interactions.
7. Will there be a limited number of people allowed in the salon?
We will be following usual capacity guidelines for each of our stores.
8. What are you doing in Wales?
Our Rawr concession in Cardiff is located within Primark, we will continue to work with Primark and the governments advise, having extensive safety measures in place including a strict social distancing protocol, limits on the number of customers allowed in store, requiring the use of face coverings in queues and in-store, hand sanitisation stations within the salon, Perspex screens and screen dividers between chairs and increased in-store cleaning.We will follow the guidance of the government and make relevant changes as advised.
