Threading is an old hair removal technique that originated from India and the Middle East thousands of years ago. It is used as an alternative hair removal treatment to waxing, plucking and laser treatments. So why is it such a great treatment? Check out the benefits of below…
Threading uses no chemicals
Unlike other hair removal treatments, threading doesn’t use chemicals. The only thing used in a treatment is a soft cotton thread. This hair removal technique is perfect for those with sensitive skin as it is an all-natural hair removal treatment.
We all want #Browsonfleek, don’t we?! Threading is a great treatment as its biggest benefit is the precision. Individual hairs can be targeted but multiple hairs can be removed at the same time. It is like having the accuracy of using tweezers but having the ability to remove multiple hairs at one time like waxing.
Threading is often described as less painful than waxing. This may be because the thread doesn’t actually touch the skin of the customer.
Tweezing can take forever because you are slowly removing hairs one by one. When you are waxing, you need to wait for the wax to dry. Whereas threading can take anywhere from 5 to 15 minutes.
Depending on your individual hair growth, for most people the treatment can last from 2-5 weeks. Threading also weakens the hair follicles, so over time your hair will grow finer and less often.
