We know you are absolutely dying to get back in that chair opposite your favourite nail technician for your first bit of pampering! We are so excited to have you back too. As you know, when the government gives us the go ahead, we will be opening our doors once again. Check out the nail trend that might be for you and will be popping when we are unleashed from lockdown to make sure you are still on fleek when it comes to your manis!

Metallics

If you don’t have metallic nails this year then you need to check yourself! The queen herself (Kylie Jenner – pfft, for those of you thinking Lizzie posts nail pics!) regularly rocks the nail craze. The metallic nail trend works in just about any colour from rose gold to icy platinum and pairs best with longer coffin shaped nails!

Yellow

Bold, bright colours – like yellow will be the must have nail trend this season! It’s “undeniably young and fun spirit” according to Jin Soon Choi, famous Editorial manicurist, will be why it makes a comeback.

Yellow is THE it colour!

Dark Green

Just like our gals, Stefflon Don’s nails at our launch event, dark green is proving to be a popular colour again this year.

Garden party shades

Think pretty tea dress, flowers, and “THE” matching nails. You will instantly see baby pink, sage and pink lavender vibes! The ultimate pretty girlie nail trend!

Pastel

Bring back the 90s! Think hard candy colours like baby blue, baby pink, yellow, mint or lavender! Cute fingertips every day of the week! You could even try a pastel rainbow with a different colour on every fingertip!

Our nail techs love a pastel polish!

Soft Orange

This year instead of those bright coral colours that called our name last year, soft oranges are the one! The warm sunshine tones will make you feel like you are at that pool party in Ibiza every day… not locked down!

Blue

Classic blue was chosen as the Pantone colour of the year for 2020 and we are now seeing this as a popular nail choice too!

Nude

It’s a classic! It’s the perfect go to accessory to go with every outfit when you are unleashed from lockdown.

Matte

Soft, hazy and definitely understated – Matte manicures are definitely making a comeback! Matte polishes can sometimes get a bad rap for being flat and dull, but a good matte manicure paired with some jazzy nail art can really make a difference.

The 80s

The 80’s was renowned for bright, bold colours with the most amazing patterns too which screams for nail art! Why not give 2020 that burst of energy that we didn’t get at the start of the year?!

Activism nail art

Following the #Blacklivesmatter movement last month, many people have started having statement nail art to make a stand with the movement.

Ombre

This summer we will all still be OBSESSED with the Ombre mani! Its classy, bougie, ratchet (yeah!), sometimes sassy, moody and nasty! If you know, you know…

Negative space

What is this I hear you say? A negative space manicure is an original, low-maintenance and entirely on trend look! We are all used to our natural nails by this point in 2020, so a negative space manicure sees part of the nail exposed with other parts having block colour designs, sparkly accents, and some polish!

Updated French mani

This is a modern take on a classic manicure! Swap the white and nude out for some eye popping colours and you have an updated French mani to die for! Even our girl Kylie Jenner does it…
