Rules & regulations

All Therapists/ students must comply with the Rules and Regulations set out by NBTA/Rawr Education Training Center whilst attending a course.

We do our upmost to provide a high and safe standard of training at the Centre. Please assist us in maintaining these professional standards by adhering to these rules and regulations as they are there for your benefit as well as being compulsory for Health & Safety purposes.

Punctuality - Courses will commence promptly at the published times. The teaching time on short courses is extremely precious! We do understand that incidents occur that cannot be prevented e.g. heavy traffic, poorly children, but we would appreciate a telephone message if you are running late.

The course will start after 10.30am to help with dropping children, and to avoid the traffic. We work with you to support any difficulties you may have if it has an impact on your learning

 

Dress Code - Not only is it always important for a therapist to appear professional, but it is also vital that we comply with the dress code for Health & Safety issues. All Therapists / Students should adhere to the Centre’s dress code. We may refuse students entry on the day if he/she has not complied with these rules. Shoes must be plain in black with a low heel and enclosed toe. No trainers or open sandals wear Black T shirt or top and Black trousers or skirt Personal Hygiene – Students / Therapists must always maintain their own personal hygiene.

Jewellery - No Jewellery (including nose and tongue piercings) should be worn during the course except for a wedding band and small stud earrings. Please leave any valuables at home as the Centre cannot take any responsibility for loss or damage to students’ or clients’ personal belongings

Training Manuals & course handouts Training are supplied by the Centre will be PDF Course work And must not be reproduced, copied, or given to any person not attending the course. You are required to complete the online assignment before your practical assessment Day All materials are the Copyright of the Centre – Rawr Education

Models - Will be provided on the day to complete all practical assessments and case studies you will be required to complete full professional treatment for all clients. Patch test will be conducted 24 hours on models and disclaimers will be completed

COVID-19 Regulations are in place for training only – all practical assessments will take place on each other and Booked Models from the Centre on day of course

Incorporating health and safety knowledge into all activities.

Provide information, procedures and equipment for fire and emergencies.

Provide information, procedures, and equipment for accidents.

Provide training and up-to-date information on health and safety to all concerned.

Promote a responsible attitude to health and safety throughout the centre.

 Co-operate with others in keeping the environment safe.

Take care to avoid injury to them or others by being appropriately dressed and not misusing or

causing damage to equipment, materials, or the premises.

Report any hazard to the person in charge or other responsible person immediately

Complaints Procedure

Policy Statement - The Centre is committed to providing exceptional service. However, sometimes mistakes are made. When something goes wrong, we need you to tell us about it. This will help us to improve our standards. This complaints procedure is for people who feel dissatisfied with the service. You have a right to complain and have it investigated. The Centre aims to learn from any mistakes and the complaints procedure is seen as very important in the continuous improvement cycle.

Quality assurance

processes are in place within the company and are managed through the Quality Assurance Unit. The function of Quality assurance is to ensure that the learner s journey and development is met with the correct standards of training and support, as specified by the Awarding Organisation.

This is continually monitored through

• Internal Quality Assurance by the education provider and

• External Quality Assurance by the Awarding Organisation.
